The Song of Sleeping Beauty
a song that has ministered to me and remained close to me, as a reminder that our God is faithful. | You Are Faithful | | Hope For The Future | | Tamara Winslow
A song by LeAnn Rimes, ripped from a fellow multiplyaholic's website.
Introduced by phoonie in Feb 06 and the words and melody moved me.
Something I'm learning to sing, to challenge my vocals.
I Need You written by Ty Lacy, Dennis Matkosky
I don’t need a lot of things I can get by with nothing Of all the blessings life can bring I’ve always needed something But I’ve got all I want When it comes to loving You You’re my only reason You’re my only truth
I need you like water Like breath, like rain I need You like mercy From heaven’s gate There’s a freedom in Your arms That carries me through I need You
You’re the hope that moves me To courage again You’re the love that rescues me When the cold wind rages And it’s so amazing ‘Cause that’s just how You are And I can’t turn back now You’ve brought me too far
Oh yes I do… | I Need You | | PromoOnly Mainstream Radio-May | | LeAnn Rimes

I really love this old hills album, borrowed from WS and Mavis.. heh. such great songs for a great cause. so in line with my life purpose statement, epitomised by Philippians 3:7-14. These three songs are THE songs for me this year.
Track 2: Faith is my theme song for 2006. God is teaching me to step out in faith, not blind, fuzzy, impulse reactions, but the kind of holy boldness and faith that moves mountains! What a great song!
Track 11: Reaching For You I must thank Nette for introducing this song to me, out of the blue, when i was hitching a ride from her one night. Actually, it was after YC's farewell Turkish dinner ;P And it was such a divine appointment and a timely one for me because I was leading worship for BTW in March and the theme for that session was One Life, One Purpose. And I felt led to share my life purpose statement, from Phil 3, and was just praying for a theme song for that worship set. So Nette, you're my divine appointment! Thank you so much =) I love this song, the words, the chord changes.
Track 4: Dwell In Your House I first heard this song at Truth Min's Worship And Music (WAM) camp, led by this group of happenin, typical AC/MG gals and guys, from ACS Barker Road Methodist Church. One of the girls led this song and I was struck by its words and the style of this song that seemed very foreign/new to me. Little did I realise it was by hillsong and an old album at that! I love the feel! And I love how it is played on the guit... tried it on Taylor Big Baby as well.. awesome.
On a less gushy and more sombre note, I want to dedicate Dwell In Your House to Oli =) My friend, this is my prayer for you. God loves you ever so much and wants the best for you ;P So be the man that He made you to be, and I pray you'll choose to dwell in the Lord's house above all else, forevermore! | 11 Reaching for You | | | | | | | 04 Dwell in Your House | | | | | | | 02 Faith
this version was the one that inspired me greatly and was the basis of the offertory we did with our very own boy band!! heh. Sunny, Lemmy, Adrian Lim and Pat Sum AH!!!
